Cub Camp 100 May 2016Cub 100 camp opened with Steve Backshall flying in to begin the camp, with nearly 500 cubs and 160 leaders! The 23rd had 16 cubs on site, and 6 leaders. Both days had two activity periods of 3 hours each. Cubs did rock climbing, Zorbing, Zip-wire, assault course, tunneling, rope making, craft making, circus skills, laser tag, rifle shooting, archery, crazy golf, and more.
Day one ended with a disco, then back to our site for hot choc and bed. Day two ended with a BBQ, campfire and songs, then fireworks, which were loud! All cubs agreed they had a fantastic camp, as did the leaders, and we left Monday morning with a lot of help from the parents, who went back to the den and offloaded and tidied away our kit. Big thanks to them! Regards Steve |
